Vision and Mission

Vision and Mission

Our Vision

To be a family of believers in Jesus Christ who are being built and fitted together into a Holy Temple in the Lord, a dwelling place of God in the Spirit on the earth.  In the scripture, we see only one Church of Jesus Christ in the earth.  This one universal church has been designed and fashioned by God to be expressed as one local church in every city and locality (the local city church).  We see that this one universal church being expressed as the one local city church has been given the keys to the Kingdom of God and apostolic authority to bin and loose in heaven and in the earth.  We see the local city church as the single agency that God has given authority to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God to all nations with signs, wonders and miracles following.  We see this one church being transformed daily into the very image of her Bridegroom King, prepared to be His Bride without spot or blemish.

Our Mission

Ocean City Church is a safe place for those seeking hope, mercy and forgiveness.  A place of refuge and reconciliation for everyone.  Ocean City Church is a place where generations are being reconnected, where young and old and everyone in between are equally valued and celebrated.  Ocean City Church is a place where devotion to God, hunger for righteousness, genuine humility, authentic worship and a desire to honor one another are among our highest priorities.  Ocean City Church is a place where the gospel of God's Kingdom is proclaimed without apology or reservation.  Here the Holy Spirit is free to convict and save sinners, heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, cast out demons, and raise the dead.  Ocean City Church is a place where the Bride of Christ is being prepared for her Bridegroom King.

Our Racial Reconciliation Stand

The Bible says, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 2:28.  Therefore, we are a multi-racial, multi-cultural church.  We welcome all people and celebrate the divinely designed diversity in the Church of Jesus Christ.
